Microsoft is ending MSDN magazine after 20 years this upcoming November but all previous issues will be available online. According to Microsoft
“As Microsoft products and services expanded exponentially over the years, MSDN Magazine has gone through its own evolution, as well,” Microsoft said Monday. “We realized that it is time to retire MSDN Magazine and to carry on its work through Web channels like docs.microsoft.com.”
Current subscribers will get refunds mailed to them after the November issue releases. “
The sentiments they state I agree with wholeheartedly as print media is dying ever so rapidly in this new digital age that we live in. The internet, social media, and e-books are kicking print media to the wayside and very rapidly. The digital media and the fact that it is objectively cheaper and more efficient than the older models that existed.
